Guardian/Parental Consent

Version 2026-07-03

Before a student can use Disha, a parent or legal guardian needs to review this product's policies and approve the student's account. This page explains what that approval currently involves.

What we currently ask a guardian to do

When one-time-code verification is enabled for this deployment, a code is sent to the guardian's contact and must be entered before the account is approved. This confirms control of the email address or phone number provided; it does not independently prove the guardian's declared relationship to the student. If one-time-code verification is disabled, the deployment must remain in draft/testing use and must not represent the contact as independently verified.

A guardian's rights, once an account is approved

More than one child

Each child has their own separate account and their own separate consent record — approving one child's account does not affect any other child's.
